"It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child." - Pablo Picasso

Beatrice M.

In my hyperactive mind, I see colour, structure, words and ideas, strange and wonderful people and animals - weird characters with weird faces. In my work I incorporate the beauty, humour, ugliness and chaos of the world into my surreal creations by looking around me and within me. Referencing my own interests and aspirations, history and experience, I create artworks which are raw and primitive in style. I have built an excellent reputation both online and and have an array of regular collectors in addition to those who have recently found and fallen in love with my work. My artworks are hung in private collections all around the world and have been used in both TV and film productions.
